This course addresses a range of compliance issues relevant to contractors.
- Employment related obligations: compensation & benefits & key insurance requirements.
- OSHA and COVID-19: PPE, investigations, recordkeeping, & vaccinations.
- Payroll pitfalls: Independent contractors, drive-time, overtime calculations & exemptions.
- Hiring & retaining employees: I-9 review, health insurance & other benefits, workers’ compensation.
- Contractors Insurance review: Builders Risk & General Liability.

Please Note: One Hour Energy Code Training is required for 2021 Renewal.
For Renewing S330, S410 & S350
S330 Landscape and Recreation Contractors and
S410 Boiler, Pipeline, Waste Water, and Water Conditioner contractor classification need at least 2 hours (of their 6 hours of CE) related to backflow preventer installation every renewal cycle.
S350 HVAC Contractors must take 3 hours (of their 6 hours of CE) which is directly related to the installation, repair, or replacement of a heating, ventilation, or air conditioning system.
